Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of cooking experience in a restaurant setting
- Ability to maintain high standards of sanitation and food safety
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Willingness to work part-time schedule of 24-30 hours per week including weekends and holidays
- Availability to work hours matching TAP Sports Bar operations including occasional early starts and closures adjustments
Job Qualifications
- 1-2 years of restaurant cooking experience in a similar environment is preferred
- Knowledge of knives and knife skills, standard kitchen equipment and supplies including toasters, refrigerators, coolers, slicers, beverage machines, Cryovac machine and smallwares is preferred
- Ability to work a flexible part-time schedule including weekends and holidays
Job Duties
- Apply culinary techniques and maintain solid knowledge of food products and menu items
- Safely use kitchen equipment and restock supplies and food items as needed
- Properly label and date products to ensure safekeeping and sanitation
- Focus on plate presentation and assist with the execution of service
- Prepare base sauces, stocks, and soups as required
- Collaborate as a team to meet guest needs and inquiries
