Talking Stick Resort Amphitheatre, part of the Live Nation family, is currently seeking a Parking Lot Attendant. This role is crucial in maintaining an efficient, safe, and welcoming parking experience for guests attending concerts and events. The Parking Lot Attendant will be responsible for tasks such as parking vehicles, issuing tickets, handling cash transactions, and ensuring the cleanliness and orderliness of parking areas. This dynamic position demands excellent guest service skills, effective communication, and a commitment to safety and professionalism.

The Parking Lot Attendant duties involve taking numbered tags from guests, locating and delivering vehicles promptly, or providing guests with instructions to find their cars. They ensure parking areas are maximized and orderly while directing motorists using hand signals or flashlights. Vigilance in patrolling to prevent vehicle damage or theft is essential. Greeting guests warmly, opening car doors, calculating parking fees, issuing ticket stubs, managing barricades, inspecting vehicles for damage, and contributing to sustainability initiatives by sorting waste and promoting recycling are all vital components of the job. Additionally, the attendant will collaborate with their team to close the venue smoothly after events by collecting recyclables and storing event equipment.

Candidates who bring a year or more of guest service experience, particularly in valet parking or similar roles, will thrive in this position. Excellent communication skills, a professional appearance, and a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record are required.   • previous valet parking or driving experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Take numbered tags from guests, locate vehicles, and deliver vehicles, or provide guests with instructions for locating vehicles
  • keep parking areas clean and orderly to ensure that space usage is maximized
  • direct motorists to parking areas or parking spaces, using hand signals or flashlights as necessary
  • patrol parking areas to prevent vehicle damage and vehicle or property thefts
  • park and retrieve automobiles for customers in parking lots, storage garages, or new car lots
  • greet guests and open their car doors
  • calculate parking charges and collect fees from guests
  • issue ticket stubs, or place numbered tags on windshields, and give guests matching tags for locating parked vehicles
  • lift, position, and remove barricades to open or close parking areas
  • inspect vehicles to detect any damage
  • show care by participating in the venue's sustainability program which could include implementing programs that conserve resources/prevent waste such as sorting waste and collecting recycling and educating our fans about our efforts
  • partner with fellow band members at the end of show to close the venue, which may include collecting recyclables from the lawn and/or reserved section, picking up and properly storing event equipment such as lawn chairs, barricade, etc
  • perform other tasks assigned by the Parking Manager or Supervisor
