Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of recruiting experience
  • Minimum of 2 years as a team lead
  • Experience with high-volume recruitment environments preferably in related industries
  • Ability to manage and develop a team of recruiters
  • Strong tactical and strategic recruiting skills
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities
  • Proficient in Excel and data analysis
  • Willingness to work flexible hours
  • Availability for some domestic and international travel

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of recruiting experience
  • Minimum of 2 years experience as a team lead
  • Experience with high-volume recruitment, preferably in freight forwarding, retail, warehousing or light manufacturing
  • Experience managing performance expectations and supporting team growth
  • Ability to operate both tactically and strategically
  • Experience prioritizing workloads in high-volume recruitment
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Creative mindset to challenge status quo and push team
  • Basic project management skills
  • Proficient with Excel and analytical skills
  • Comfortable working flexible hours

Job Duties

  • Partner with senior leadership to create and implement hiring strategies across the US and Canada
  • Manage and work alongside a team of 6-8 recruiters to support hiring managers
  • Delegate and prioritize workload among team members
  • Manage a personal requisition load of executive-level positions
  • Work with HRBPs, Talent Acquisition Specialists, and business managers to ensure fulfillment of open positions
  • Ensure national talent management and development initiatives are implemented, monitored, and measured
  • Participate in national HR management and Talent Acquisition meetings
  • Collaborate closely with Talent Acquisition management peers on national and regional levels
  • Manage relationships with relevant vendors to meet company needs
  • Review processes and implement improvement initiatives
  • Determine and measure relevant KPIs and recruitment metrics
  • Generate and analyze reports and data to develop actionable recommendations
  • Stay up-to-date on US and Canada labor legislation and inform team
  • Travel domestically and internationally as required
