Job Requirements
- Minimum of 5-7 years of recruiting experience
- Minimum of 2 years as a team lead
- Experience with high-volume recruitment environments preferably in related industries
- Ability to manage and develop a team of recruiters
- Strong tactical and strategic recruiting skills
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Proficient in Excel and data analysis
- Willingness to work flexible hours
- Availability for some domestic and international travel
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 5-7 years of recruiting experience
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a team lead
- Experience with high-volume recruitment, preferably in freight forwarding, retail, warehousing or light manufacturing
- Experience managing performance expectations and supporting team growth
- Ability to operate both tactically and strategically
- Experience prioritizing workloads in high-volume recruitment
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Creative mindset to challenge status quo and push team
- Basic project management skills
- Proficient with Excel and analytical skills
- Comfortable working flexible hours
Job Duties
- Partner with senior leadership to create and implement hiring strategies across the US and Canada
- Manage and work alongside a team of 6-8 recruiters to support hiring managers
- Delegate and prioritize workload among team members
- Manage a personal requisition load of executive-level positions
- Work with HRBPs, Talent Acquisition Specialists, and business managers to ensure fulfillment of open positions
- Ensure national talent management and development initiatives are implemented, monitored, and measured
- Participate in national HR management and Talent Acquisition meetings
- Collaborate closely with Talent Acquisition management peers on national and regional levels
- Manage relationships with relevant vendors to meet company needs
- Review processes and implement improvement initiatives
- Determine and measure relevant KPIs and recruitment metrics
- Generate and analyze reports and data to develop actionable recommendations
- Stay up-to-date on US and Canada labor legislation and inform team
- Travel domestically and internationally as required
