This role is crucial as the General Manager sets the tone for the workplace culture and oversees the total restaurant operation to ensure a consistent, outstanding experience for customers. This position also involves managing the restaurant's financial performance, including budgeting, sales analysis, and labor cost control.

Major responsibilities include recruiting and developing employees, creating effective training programs, scheduling staff strategically, and addressing any performance issues to maintain operational standards. Job Requirements

  • 18 years or older
  • Obtain a food handler's certificate according to state or local requirements
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Maintain a professional appearance and good hygiene standards
  • Ability to work flexible hours, arrive to work on time and be dependable
  • Ability to contribute to the team and maintain a positive attitude and strong work ethic

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years quick service and fast-food restaurant experience
  • Preferred 2 years food management experience
  • Preferred 2 years drive-thru experience
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Proven ability to develop and motivate staff
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to analyze financial reports and manage budgets
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic

Job Duties

  • Drive excellent customer service and maintain company standards
  • Ensure crew members and shift supervisors complete all assigned duties and serve safe, quality food in a friendly manner
  • Analyze sales, labor, inventory, and controllables continually and take corrective action to meet or achieve margin and sales growth targets
  • Oversee a team of associates in a fast-paced environment while ensuring all proper food safety precautions are satisfied
  • Manage the restaurant budget and financial plans
  • Engage in clear, consistent communications with field leadership and restaurant staff frequently
  • Build an effective team through training and development and provide meaningful, timely performance feedback
  • Ensure food safety, quality, and sanitation including receiving shipments and maintaining proper storage of ingredients and supplies
  • Oversee periodic health, safety, and security audits and initiate corrective action as necessary
  • Ensure the facility and equipment are maintained to Taco Bell standards
  • Follow proper opening and closing procedures
  • Maintain guest and employee safety
