Job Requirements
- Valid California driver's license required

- Experience managing complex network infrastructures

- Advanced knowledge of network administration and security
- Experience in healthcare IT environment preferred
- Ability to communicate complex network architecture to management and technical staff
Job Qualifications
- Four year degree in information technology or equivalent work experience preferred
- Current technical certifications in network engineering and support preferred
- Seven years of experience in IT providing customer support and enterprise infrastructure management
- Minimum five years of experience as a network engineer primarily with Cisco networks
- Minimum two years of healthcare IT experience preferred
- Experience with ITIL framework and change management systems
- Extensive experience with Cisco network infrastructure components
- Demonstrated experience with TCP/IP, subnetting, DNS, DHCP, and packet analysis
- Skilled in firewall systems, policies, and ACLs
- Knowledge of network technologies such as EIGRP, OSPF, SSLVPN, IPSEC-VPN, multicast, and QoS
- Experience with hybrid Layer2/Layer3 campus environments and tiered network architectures
- Experience with physical infrastructure components and Ethernet WAN carrier products
- Experience in managing electronic physical access control systems
- Knowledge of data center UPS and fire suppression systems
Job Duties
- Manage assigned network and IT systems in a 24x7 high availability environment
- Design, develop specifications, analyze, test, implement, and maintain network systems
- Monitor and audit system error logs, event logs, backup logs, and security systems
- Perform system performance analysis, tuning, configuration, backups, recovery, capacity planning, and security administration
- Collaborate with hospital administrative, medical/clinical staff, and technical support teams
- Troubleshoot and maintain network components including Cisco switches, routers, security appliances, and virtualization systems
- Ensure compliance with ITIL framework, change management policies, and secure network practices
