The Identity and Access Management (IAM) & Privileged Access Management (PAM) Engineer role at Optimum is a vital position within the Information Security and Enterprise Information Technology (EIT) departments. This role is focused on ensuring the robust implementation, design, and ongoing maintenance of the company’s IAM and PAM platforms. The Engineer will be responsible for onboarding all applications to the platforms, ensuring proper management of user access entitlements, user provisioning, and de-provisioning while maintaining the highest standards of security compliance.

The position requires a strong technical expert familiar with privileged account integration, especially within environments that utilize Delinea/Thycotic Secret Server and Privilege Manager products. This includes managing privileged accounts across both on-premises and cloud environments, such as Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The candidate will actively participate in technical research and development initiatives aimed at innovating Optimum's PAM and Information Risk management capabilities. The role also involves setting standards and guidelines on identity federation, role-based access control (RBAC), and privilege access management for the organization.

The IAM & PAM Engineer collaborates closely with cross-functional teams, integrating PAM solutions into cloud-native and hybrid IT environments, automating password rotations for service and privileged accounts, and conducting regular audits to ensure operational security standards are upheld. This role emphasizes continuous learning and staying informed about the latest in cybersecurity trends and PAM technologies to maintain Optimum’s competitive edge.
