The role of Busser/Food Runner at Sixty Vines is integral to maintaining the seamless flow of service within the restaurant. Candidates for this position will be responsible for providing friendly, efficient, knowledgeable, and helpful service of food and beverages following established quality and timing standards. The role requires maintaining a high standard of cleanliness not only at the tables but throughout the entire restaurant to ensure a welcoming environment for guests. Busser/Food Runners support servers, bartenders, and other team members by maintaining tables and delivering food and drinks accurately and efficiently. This team member assists in special cleaning projects and repair maintenance as necessary, contributing to the overall upkeep of the restaurant. The position demands excellent communication skills, punctuality, and strict adherence to professional grooming and uniform standards. Operational duties include assembling and disassembling workstations, maintaining cleanliness and stock levels during shifts, ensuring compliance with state and federal laws regarding food and alcohol service, and helping maintain the presentation and readiness of the restaurant through tasks like polishing silverware and glassware. Busser/Food Runners must have a thorough understanding of the menu, support staff procedures, and host stand operations to effectively assist servers and enhance the guests’ dining experience. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be able to read English
  • Stand for long periods
  • Lift a minimum of 50 lbs
  • Maintain a current Food Handler's Certification and TABC certification
  • Follow professional grooming and uniform standards
  • Arrive on time for scheduled shifts
  • Communicate positively and professionally with guests and coworkers

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be able to read English
  • Stand for long periods
  • Lift a minimum of 50 lbs
  • Properly use a knife and other equipment required to execute necessary tasks
  • Properly utilize a tray to assist in delivering food and drink items to guests
  • Maintain a current Food Handler's Certification and TABC certification
  • Practice proper sanitation procedures and follow regulations regarding alcohol sales and service

Job Duties

  • Provide friendly, efficient, knowledgeable, and helpful service of food and beverage following established quality and time standards
  • Maintain a high awareness of cleanliness in the restaurant, onto only at the tables, but throughout its entirety
  • Support server, bartenders, and all team members by helping to maintain tables and efficiently deliver correct food drinks to guests
  • Assist in any special cleaning projects, including repair maintenance
  • Communicate with guests and coworkers in a positive, friendly, and hospitable manner
  • Arrive on time for scheduled shifts, ready to work
  • Assemble/disassemble workstation promptly
