The role available is for a Bartender who will be a crucial part of the service team, responsible for delivering friendly, personable, and expert beverage service that complements the Sixty Vines dining experience. This position is full-time and offers a competitive compensation package with an average wage of $35 or more per hour, inclusive of tips, across all restaurants within the brand. Flexibility in scheduling allows team members to maintain a healthy work-life balance, while comprehensive insurance options become available after 60 days, contingent upon meeting minimum average hours requirements. Bartenders at Sixty Vines are not only expected to craft drinks expertly but also to exhibit detailed knowledge of the menu, assist guests with inquiries, and uphold the high standards of cleanliness and presentation in the bar area. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English
  • Physically able to stand for long periods and lift at least 50 pounds
  • Proper use of knives and bar equipment
  • Current Food Handler's Certification
  • Current TABC Certification
  • Willingness to participate in continuous education and training

Job Qualifications

  • Properly use a knife and other equipment required to execute necessary tasks
  • Maintain current Food Handler's Certification and TABC Certification
  • Practice proper sanitation procedures and follow alcohol sale and service regulations

Job Duties

  • Interact with guests and coworkers in a friendly and professional manner
  • Arrive on time for scheduled shifts, ready to work
  • Proper uniform should be always worn while in work areas
  • Maintain cleanliness of the entire bar during shift
  • Prepare all drinks, garnishes, mixers, syrups, etc. according to the proper procedure recipe
  • Assist guests with any questions or concerns regarding the menu including liquor, beer, and wine
  • Handle all cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently according to company standards
  • Execute proper food delivery, placement, and removal at all tables
  • Pre-bus and manicure tables throughout the restaurant
  • Communicate questions or issues to management promptly
  • Work collaboratively with coworkers and management in a friendly and enthusiastic manner
  • Perform opening and closing duties including disassembling, cleaning, and sanitizing workstations
  • Set up the next shift for success
  • Practice proper sanitation procedures and follow alcohol sales regulations
  • Participate in continuing education courses
  • Maintain beverage inventory and restock before shift end
  • Assist in washing and restocking glassware
  • Maintain records of spills and comps
  • Clean and maintain all equipment and utensils
  • Report equipment issues immediately
  • Have complete knowledge of food and bar menus and mix drinks per recipe specifications
