Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older
- Availability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays preferred
- Reliable and punctual
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
- Must comply with food safety and cleanliness standards
- Ability to work full-time or part-time hours
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food preparation role is an advantage
- Basic knowledge of food safety standards
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Strong team player with good communication skills
- Willingness to learn and grow within the company
- Enthusiasm for Japanese cuisine and sushi preparation
Job Duties
- Prepare fresh sushi and other foods to Kura standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen
- Follow established food safety and hygiene practices
- Collaborate with team members to ensure quality and timely service
- Multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Learn and adapt to new sushi preparation techniques
- Assist with general kitchen prep and inventory management
