Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age or older
  • Availability to work full-time or part-time hours
  • Willingness to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Ability to stand for extended periods during shifts
  • Basic English communication skills for safety and teamwork
  • Commitment to providing excellent customer service and quality food

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience in a kitchen or food preparation role is advantageous but not required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
  • Knowledge of basic food safety and hygiene practices
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Enthusiasm for learning and preparing sushi
  • Ability to follow directions accurately

Job Duties

  • Prepare fresh, tasty, and quality food to guests
  • Maintain knowledge of food safety standards and restaurant cleanliness
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
  • Assist in food preparation and sushi making to Kura Sushi standards
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations
  • Organize and manage multiple tasks during shifts
  • Follow company policies and procedures regarding hygiene and safety
