Job Requirements
- 2 or more years experience with sushi
- Excellent knife skills to slice sashimi and maki
- Be able to make nigiri and maki
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays
- Must have access to reliable transportation
- Must be a good listener and open for change anytime
- Previous experience in a high-volume kitchen preferred
- Strong passion and dedication to food, beverage, and hospitality
- Must be able to multitask and maintain a clean and orderly work area
- Ability to move and lift up to 25 lbs
- Standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods
- Ensuring professional appearance in clean uniform
Job Qualifications
- 2 or more years experience with sushi

Job Duties
- Assist and follow the direction of the Sushi Chef in daily prep and service
- Ensure quality of product in preparation and during service
- Complete tasks in an efficient and timely manner
- Follow recipes and chef's direction on all menu items
- Strive to uphold excellence in food quality and performance
- Ensure food is of exceptional quality with a high attention to detail
- Prepare fresh food for service
- Set up and stock station with necessary ingredients and supplies
- Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following sanitation standards, complying with health and legal regulations and maintaining security systems
- Work on the sushi line during service, while occasionally engaging with guests
