Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 1 year of relevant culinary experience, preferably in sushi preparation
  • Ability to follow detailed recipes and food preparation guidelines
  • Strong commitment to hygiene and food safety
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Physical ability to perform repetitive tasks and stand for extended periods
  • Must be punctual and reliable

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven experience as a sushi cook or in a similar culinary role
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent knife skills and precision in food preparation
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic

Job Duties

  • Reports to work on time as indicated on the work schedule
  • Uniform meets restaurant requirements and is maintained and cleaned
  • Practices positive personal hygiene and cleanliness habits during all work shifts
  • Preps all food to ensure that all items are prepared according to company specifications, recipes, procedures, plate presentation, and quality standards
  • Ensures our guests have a superior dining experience by correctly prepping food products
  • Displays proper food safety techniques in handling and preparation
  • Maintains the highest degree of sanitation, cleanliness, and food safety for the work area including prep tables, countertops, refrigeration units, floors, walls, and shelving
