Job Duties

  • Prepare and assemble sushi dishes according to recipes and presentation standards
  • Ensure the freshness and quality of all ingredients used
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations and tools, adhering to health and safety regulations
  • Manage inventory of sushi ingredients and notify management of supplies needed
  • Follow proper food handling and storage procedures
  • Assist in training new staff members
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
  • Maintain a consistent standard of quality for all sushi dishes
  • Engage with customers at the oyster bar/sushi, providing knowledgeable answers about menu items and making recommendations
  • Present dishes in an appealing and appetizing manner
  • Handle customer inquiries and special requests professionally and courteously
