Job Requirements

Job Qualifications
- At least 1 year in a sushi production/sushi cook role or role with similar experience
- Team player and able to anticipate others’ needs
- Positive attitude
- Must have valid, non-expired Food Handlers’ card
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays when needed
Job Duties
- Breaking down fish into useable, identical portions
- Cooking and seasoning sushi rice
- Producing all garnishes for sushi dishes
- Producing rolls, sashimi, and nigiri
- Cleaning and sanitizing the sushi station daily according to health department standards
- Communicating ordering needs to the chefs on a daily basis
- Rotation of all product according to FIFO to ensure high quality product
- All other duties as assigned
