Job Requirements
- Must be able to stand or walk for a minimum of eight hours
- Must be able to twist, tow (push or pull), reach, bend, climb and carry up to 25 pounds
Job Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Sushi Chef in upscale and high-volume settings
- Knowledge of safe food handling practices
- Experience with purchasing and food plating
- Good communication skills in English
Job Duties
- Prepare and present sushi dishes in line with the establishment's standards
- Ensure compliance with safe food handling and sanitation practices
- Manage inventory and assist with purchasing of sushi ingredients
- Collaborate with kitchen and service staff to maintain smooth operations
- Monitor food quality and consistency
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sushi preparation area
- Communicate effectively in English with team members
