Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Proven experience as a sushi chef sushi roller or restaurant cook
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with accuracy and speed
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Positive attitude under pressure
  • Texas Food Handler Certification required before first day of work

Job Duties

  • Create high-quality sushi including rolling cutting and packaging for dine-in and take-out
  • Ensure food safety sanitation and quality standards are strictly adhered to
  • Provide a high level of guest satisfaction especially at the sushi bar
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sushi station
  • Display knowledge of menu items and promotions
  • Complete opening and closing duties efficiently and safely
  • Demonstrate and uphold all TRAPCHK core values
