Job Requirements
- Minimum two years of sushi sous/cook experience
- Minimum two to three years of culinary supervisory or management experience in a high-volume kitchen setting
- Two-year associate degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent work experience preferred
- Strong menu planning ability
- Ability to coach, build a team, problem solve and lead
- Must be organized, self-motivated and proactive
- Proficient with computers, Microsoft products, POS and technology
- Must have strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Positive energy throughout the day
- Ability to read computer monitors and print legibly
- Ability to bend, kneel, sit and stand for extended periods
- Ability to move quickly and set pace in the office
- Ability to push and lift up to 50 lbs
- Work in a small to medium office environment
- Able to work in office, casino, nightclub, bar, lounge, and/or restaurant settings
- Willingness for 5-25% local travel within the United States
- Ability to work in environments with varying noise, crowds, and smoke
- May work extended, irregular, evening, weekend and holiday shifts
- Maintain a professional, neat and well-groomed appearance
- Ability to interact professionally with customers, managers and coworkers
- Ability to maintain high confidentiality
- Ability to handle fast-paced, busy, and stressful environments
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Ensures the needs of the guests are accommodated
- Ensures the general cleanliness of the heart-of-house and the entire venue
- Participates in interviewing, hiring, and training new applicants and team member development
- Responsible for the scheduling of assigned departments
- Ensures safety, quality, and recipe accuracy
- Manages the execution of regular service, catering, take-out, delivery, and events
- Ensures Department of Health and company sanitation standards
