Job Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in sushi preparation or similar role in a professional kitchen
- Ability to work as part of a team supporting service flow and collaboration
- Strong understanding of Japanese cuisine principles including sushi techniques, knife skills, and ingredient selection
- Commitment to maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Positive, engaging attitude and willingness to learn

Job Duties
- Assist in preparing and executing sushi offerings including nigiri, sashimi, and maki rolls with quality and consistency
- Help source local and seasonal ingredients in collaboration with culinary staff
- Demonstrate proficiency in traditional sushi techniques with high standards for taste and presentation
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace adhering to food safety standards
- Work closely with the culinary team to support consistency and quality across all dishes
- Contribute ideas and techniques to enhance the sushi program
- Assist in training other cooks in traditional Japanese preparation techniques
