Job Requirements

1+ year minimum experience as a sushi chef
Knowledge of food safety and handling requirements
Basic knife skills
Understanding of restaurant kitchen procedures
Professional dress, speech, and behavior
Ability to manage time effectively
Willingness to work flexible shifts, including AM/lunch and evening dinner shifts

Job Qualifications

1+ year minimum experience as a sushi chef
Formal culinary training a plus
Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
Knowledge of general sanitary and safety practices
Able to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as needed
Able to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

Prepares food items to order following established recipes and maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and food safety
Follows safety and sanitation rules and practices
Cleans work areas and all equipment used in food preparation
