Job Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a sushi chef role in an upscale or fine dining setting
- Experience balancing high-volume output with precision and elegant presentation
- Strong leadership and communication skills in English
- Calm, organized, and detail-oriented under pressure
- Proficiency in modern kitchen systems, inventory control, and prep management
- Familiarity managing a hot kitchen program is a plus
- Experience conducting omakase service is a strong plus
- Culinary degree or formal Japanese culinary training is a plus
- Working knowledge of Spanish or another language is a plus

Job Duties
- Lead the sushi program and oversee daily sushi operations
- Prepare and present sushi dishes with precision and artistic flair
- Manage kitchen inventory and prep to ensure efficiency and freshness
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization in the sushi station
- Collaborate with culinary team to ensure consistency and quality across all dishes
- Train and mentor junior sushi staff
- Support omakase service and contribute to menu development
