Job Description
The Indigo Road Hospitality Group (IRHG) is a well-established hospitality company founded in 2009 by Steve Palmer, known for its commitment to fostering a people-first culture within the hospitality industry. Operating over 30 locations, IRHG prides itself on creating an environment where employees are valued as family, not just staff. This approach creates a supportive workplace that encourages internal growth opportunities for team members eager to advance their careers. The company stands out in the hospitality sector by combining a warm, lifestyle-oriented work culture with a dedication to excellence in guest service. Employees are motivated through competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and a strong emphasis on teamwork, heart, and passion for the craft.
We are currently seeking experienced Sushi Chefs and Sushi Rollers to join our dynamic team at Indigo Road Hospitality Group. This role offers a signing bonus of $1,000 for qualified candidates — $500 paid after 90 days of employment and an additional $500 after six months. The position is perfect for a talented and passionate sushi professional who excels in preparing high-quality sushi dishes while maintaining strict hygiene and presentation standards. As a Sushi Chef, you will be the heart behind each delicate slice and intricate roll, crafting an exceptional dining experience for our guests. The position demands creativity, efficiency, and a commitment to consistency in both quality and timing. You will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness, adhering to health regulations, assisting in training teammates, and ensuring that our sushi products meet our signature standards every day. This is a hands-on culinary position within a fast-paced, rewarding workspace where your skills and passion can truly shine and grow.
Beyond your culinary duties, you will be an integral part of a team that values clear communication, mutual support, and dedication to providing outstanding hospitality. Your ability to communicate with managers, employees, and guests effectively will be crucial alongside your technical skills. Given the nature of the hospitality industry, a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays is required to meet the demands of service while maintaining professionalism and enthusiasm. At IRHG, we prioritize employee wellbeing, continuously fostering a positive environment where everyone feels inspired and empowered to contribute to the company's mission to reshape hospitality. If you have the experience, enthusiasm, and love for sushi making, we invite you to apply and become part of our growing family.
