This position is centered around crafting and expanding the sushi menu offered within Epic’s specialty venue, Chopsticks, which has already garnered positive acclaim. Your expertise will be pivotal in not only preparing fresh, quality sushi but also mentoring colleagues in sushi art and technique, fostering a high standard of culinary craftsmanship. Job Requirements
- eligible to work in the US without sponsorship
- live within 45 minutes of Epic's campus in Verona, WI or willing to relocate
- COVID-19 vaccination required
- culinary certification or relevant training preferred
- ability to work flexible shifts
- commitment to quality and safety standards
- excellent communication skills
Job Qualifications
- at least 2 years of sushi preparation experience
- international culinary experience preferred
- experience in fine dining or large-volume food service preferred
- able to work collaboratively within a team
- strong knowledge of sushi preparation techniques
- effective mentoring and training skills
- familiarity with Southeast Asian cuisines is a plus
Job Duties
- create and roll sushi for Epic staff, customers, and guests
- develop and expand sushi menu offerings
- mentor team members in sushi preparation techniques
- prepare dishes featuring cuisines from Southeast Asia
