Job Requirements

  • eligible to work in the US without sponsorship
  • live within 45 minutes of Epic's campus in Verona, WI or willing to relocate
  • COVID-19 vaccination required
  • culinary certification or relevant training preferred
  • ability to work flexible shifts
  • commitment to quality and safety standards
  • excellent communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • at least 2 years of sushi preparation experience
  • international culinary experience preferred
  • experience in fine dining or large-volume food service preferred
  • able to work collaboratively within a team
  • strong knowledge of sushi preparation techniques
  • effective mentoring and training skills
  • familiarity with Southeast Asian cuisines is a plus

Job Duties

  • create and roll sushi for Epic staff, customers, and guests
  • develop and expand sushi menu offerings
  • mentor team members in sushi preparation techniques
  • prepare dishes featuring cuisines from Southeast Asia
  • maintain high standards of freshness and quality in all culinary products
  • contribute to a collaborative culinary team environment
  • ensure safe and sanitary food handling practices
