The Sushi Chef role is integral to our kitchen team, tasked with creating a rich sushi menu featuring various main ingredients and fresh raw fish. This position involves preparing all types of sushi, including maki, nigiri, and sashimi, while ensuring every dish meets our quality standards. The Sushi Chef will be responsible for selecting fresh fruits and vegetables to complement the sushi offerings and preparing other menu items such as appetizers, soups, and salads. This role requires managing food preparation activities efficiently, coordinating closely with wait staff to guarantee timely serving, and maintaining hygiene principles across all cooking areas. Monitoring food stock and placing orders as necessary are also key responsibilities. - Good knowledge of various sushi types and sushi-rolling techniques
