Job Description
Founded in 1972, T Bar M Racquet Club is a prestigious private members tennis and racquet club located in Texas, serving the greater southwest region. It is internationally recognized as a premier training facility catering to competitive players, professionals, semi-professionals, and social tennis enthusiasts of all ages. The club offers an extensive range of health and wellness amenities including a gym, chiropractic and sports medicine services, and group fitness classes, fostering a strong community centered on active lifestyles and overall well-being.
In June 2022, the club was acquired by WoodHouse, a Dallas-based company committed to elevating the T Bar M experience through comprehensive renovations and enhancements. The vision is to create a world-class racquet club that seamlessly blends traditional tennis excellence with modern amenities. The upgraded facilities will maintain the club's well-established reputation while providing a fresh environment that attracts individuals and families seeking a social and wellness-focused community hub.
The new Banner House at T Bar M will boast an impressive array of offerings including 21 tennis courts with a mix of indoor, Euro red clay, and outdoor courts, 2 padel courts, 8 pickleball courts, and a retail/pro shop for members' convenience. Additionally, guests can enjoy a resort-style pool, a taqueria, spaces for private events, lounges, a restaurant, and a bar. The club also features a 12,000-square-foot fitness center equipped with state-of-the-art training equipment and luxurious locker rooms that include amenities such as a cold plunge, dry sauna, and hot tub. Complementing the fitness center is a full-service wellness spa and chiropractic center with six treatment rooms offering massages, facials, IV therapy, injectables, and chiropractic care including soft tissue therapy and needling.
About the Role As a Sushi Chef at Banner House at T Bar M, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality Japanese cuisine that delights members and guests alike. Your primary responsibility will be the preparation and presentation of sushi, sashimi, rolls, and other traditional Japanese dishes with careful attention to quality, presentation, and food safety standards. Working with fresh and carefully sourced ingredients, you will be expected to maintain top-tier culinary standards while contributing to a welcoming dining atmosphere.
This role requires a candidate who not only has technical expertise in sushi preparation but also a deep appreciation for Japanese culinary traditions and an ability to provide excellent customer service.
