Job Description
GardaWorld Security Services is a globally recognized leader in providing tailored security solutions. With a rich history of delivering sophisticated security services, GardaWorld employs a highly skilled and dedicated workforce committed to safeguarding people, property, and information across various industries. The company’s reach spans the globe, showcasing its commitment to innovation, professionalism, and excellence in the security sector. GardaWorld prides itself on creating an inclusive work environment and offers a variety of career opportunities ranging from frontline security roles to corporate positions, ensuring growth potential and career development for its employees.
The role of Surveillance Security Officer at GardaWorld Security Services is both critical and dynamic. This position calls for individuals with keen observation skills, a sharp eye for detail, and the ability to monitor multiple surveillance systems simultaneously in environments such as security operations centers, call centers, and parking gatehouses. As a Surveillance Security Officer, the candidate will be the first line of defense in identifying and reacting to potential security threats before they escalate, helping to maintain a safe and secure environment. GardaWorld offers a competitive hourly wage of $16.43, with the additional benefit of DailyPay, enabling employees to access their earnings on demand. The employment is full-time based in Grand Rapids, MI, with scheduled shifts including a third shift from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. on Sundays, second shift from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. Monday through Friday, and Thursday to Friday night shifts from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m.
Employees in this role receive a comprehensive benefits package, covering medical, dental, and vision insurance plans. A 401(k) retirement savings plan with employer matching contributions is available, alongside paid time off and holidays, disability coverage, and life insurance options. GardaWorld also provides uniforms at no cost, making it easier for officers to comply with professional standards. Furthermore, this role offers significant opportunities for career growth within the organization, appealing to individuals with ambition and an entrepreneurial spirit who want to embark on a rewarding career path with GardaWorld. The role also involves collaboration with law enforcement in critical situations, emphasizing the importance of teamwork and communication skills.
This position complements GardaWorld’s recognition as the only guarding security company in the United States certified by Great Place to Work. The company promotes equal employment opportunities and values diversity in the workforce. Employment is contingent on passing a background check and drug screening. Those with prior experience in security, military, or law enforcement roles will find this position particularly suitable, but GardaWorld welcomes all qualified candidates who can demonstrate strong report writing skills, technological proficiency, and exceptional concentration abilities. This job is more than just employment—it’s an opportunity to join a prestigious global company dedicated to protecting communities and supporting employee advancement.
