The role of Surveillance Security Officer at GardaWorld Security Services is a full-time position based in Toledo, Ohio, offering a set schedule from Saturday through Thursday, working the second shift from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. This role pays a competitive hourly wage of $18.03, with the added benefit of DailyPay availability, allowing employees access to earnings on a daily basis. In this position, the Surveillance Security Officer is responsible for monitoring multiple security systems to detect and respond to potential threats before they escalate. The officer will operate in various environments such as security operations centers, call centers, and parking gatehouses, where keen observation and attention to detail are critical. The officer must document any observed events or incidents thoroughly by writing detailed reports and respond promptly and effectively to any security incidents. Regular patrols of the premises to ensure safety, controlling access to secure areas, verifying visitor identities, and analyzing security systems for vulnerabilities are also key components of the role.
