Support Staff members are responsible for greeting guests warmly and efficiently, ensuring their initial and ongoing experience is positive from the moment they step into the restaurant. In addition to guest interaction, Support Staff assist with essential side work including stocking, cleaning, and organizing the FOH to maintain a clean and professional setting. This role requires a dedicated team player who thrives on collaboration and maintaining high standards of safety and sanitation. Guest interaction remains at the core of the Support Staff responsibilities, requiring a pleasant and personable demeanor that positively reflects the restaurant's commitment to hospitality excellence. The position demands adaptability to various duties such as managing reservations to prevent overbooking, answering phones, handling to-go orders with accuracy, and supporting servers with beverage refills. Each task contributes directly to the seamless operation of the dining experience and helps achieve the restaurant's goal of 100 percent guest satisfaction. The role also involves helping expos with food delivery and assisting bussers in pre-bussing and table resetting, further emphasizing the importance of teamwork within the FOH. Job Requirements

  • High school education preferred
  • Ability to obtain any government required licenses or certificates
  • CPR certification and/or first aid training preferred
  • Maintain a neat, clean, and well groomed appearance as per company standards
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
  • Outgoing, friendly and courteous demeanor
  • Effective communication skills
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality

Job Qualifications

  • Any combination of education and experience equivalent that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
  • High school education preferred
  • Ability to obtain any government required licenses or certificates such as local health department certification and state liquor control board certificate
  • CPR certification and/or first aid training preferred
  • All employees must maintain a neat, clean, and well groomed appearance

  • Ensuring all guests are greeted with a smile and an appropriate greeting in a timely manner
  • Distributing menus and flatware
  • Answering phones
  • Taking to go orders and handling payments accurately
  • Accepting reservations and managing them in order to prevent over booking of the restaurant
  • Ensuring host area is kept neat, clean and organized as well as stocked with essential FOH items
  • Assisting expos in delivering of food to guest
  • Assisting bussers with pre-bussing, bussing and resetting of tables
  • Assisting servers with refilling of beverages
  • Completes tasks for each shift according to the needs of the restaurant
