Job Description

The Support Staff position at Twigs Bistro and Martini Bar is designed to assist the Front of House team in various capacities, creating a seamless dining experience for guests. Individuals in this role must excel in multitasking within a fast-paced environment while consistently greeting guests with a positive, friendly, and outgoing attitude. The position involves a broad range of responsibilities, from stocking and cleaning to side work tasks essential to upholding FOH service standards. Job Requirements

Any combination of education and experience equivalent that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
ability to obtain any government required licenses or certificates such as local health department certification and state liquor control board certificate
CPR certification and/or first aid training preferred
all employees must maintain a neat, clean, and well groomed appearance in accordance with company standards

Job Qualifications

High school education preferred
experience in a customer service or hospitality role preferred
ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
strong communication and interpersonal skills
knowledge of food and beverage menu items
ability to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays
ability to follow safety and sanitation guidelines and company policies

Job Duties

provides support to FOH staff while adhering to all safety and sanitation, and company policies and procedures
interacts with the staff and guests in a positive manner as to achieve our desired result of achieving 100 percent guest satisfaction
knowledge of the menu in order to assist with guest inquiries/requests as well as be able to accurately identify food and beverage items
responsible for various tasks including, but not limited to: ensuring all guests are greeted with a smile and an appropriate greeting in a timely manner
distributing menus and flatware
answering phones
taking to go orders and handling payments accurately
accepting reservations and managing them in order to prevent over booking of the restaurant
ensuring host area is kept neat, clean and organized as well as stocked with essential FOH items
assisting expos in delivering of food to guests
assisting bussers with pre-bussing, bussing and resetting of tables
assisting servers with refilling of beverages
completes tasks for each shift according to the needs of the restaurant
