The role of Support Associate at Chico's FAS is pivotal in maintaining the seamless flow of store operations while upholding the company’s core principles. This position is primarily responsible for supporting a sales culture that centers on customers and product excellence by performing various sales operations functions. These include merchandise handling, stock processing, and maintaining an organized stockroom. Support Associates ensure that merchandise is properly processed, ticketed, and stored to maximize stock space and facilitate efficient replenishment of the sales floor. A strong focus is placed on operational excellence, including timely merchandising of new products, accurate processing of receiving documents, and reconciliation of invoices. Additionally, Associates assist with visual directives such as floor sets, window changes, and signage placement, which enhance the overall customer experience.
Customer engagement is at the heart of this role. Support Associates uphold Most Amazing Personal Service (MAPS) principles which ensure that customers receive a cohesive and enjoyable omni-channel shopping experience. Working collaboratively with their team, Associates promote an inclusive and problem-solving work environment that encourages personal growth and continuous development. The role requires adaptability, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced retail setting. Physical requirements involve standing for the majority of the shift, frequent walking, occasional lifting up to 50 pounds, and some climbing, all of which demand stamina and energy.
