  • Experience in a similar or supportive role preferred
  • Food handler certification
  • Alcohol awareness certification
  • Ability to learn restaurant point-of-sale system
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a dynamic environment
  • Hardworking and dedicated
  • Flexible schedule and able to work evenings, mornings, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Greet and welcome restaurant guests
  • Deliver food to tables ensuring timely and temperature-appropriate service
  • Deposit soiled dishes appropriately in dish-room or designated area
  • Clean and set tables according to restaurant standards
  • Empty trash containers regularly
  • Stock bussing and serving stations
  • Learn and maintain knowledge of food, wine, and beverage menus
  • Maintain cleanliness by sweeping and mopping floors
  • Pull dirty plates from tables while guests are still seated
  • Serve beverages promptly
  • Assist other restaurant personnel with tasks such as expediting food
  • Attend company and restaurant trainings and meetings
  • Communicate effectively with staff and management
  • Take on additional responsibilities as needed
