The Supply Chain Planner position is a key role within thyssenkrupp's eastern region operations, based in Acworth, GA; Cleveland, OH; Dayton, OH; or Wallingford, CT. This role reports to the supply chain management team and entails translating sales targets, market intelligence, historical shipment trends, and product knowledge into actionable, executable demand plans that align with the company’s business goals. The planner will work closely with cross-functional teams including sales, purchasing, and operations to build consensus around demand planning, ensuring supply meets customer requirements while optimizing inventory levels. This is a newly created position intended to increase operational efficiency and influence supply chain processes positively.

The Supply Chain Planner will incorporate macroeconomic factors into their planning strategies and manage critical supply chain elements such as safety stock evaluation, bill-of-materials (BOM) management, and demand forecasting units (DFUs).
