  • Candidate must meet at least one of these: held an FAA 2152 FV-J/FG-14 or above regional or headquarters position for 1 year
  • OR been facility rated or area certified for 1 year at ATS facility
  • OR held a MSS position for 1 year in an ATS facility
  • Must have held MSS-3 or MSS-4 or FAA 2152 FG-14 or above regional or headquarters position for 1 year
  • Must provide explanations addressing FAA Managerial Workforce Planning Selection Factors
  • Education cannot be substituted
  • Employment type is other

Job Qualifications

  • Plan and direct all activities at the ATC-10 terminal or en route facility
  • Manage and coordinate air traffic operations to ensure safety and efficiency
  • Oversee staff performance and provide leadership to the facility team
  • Ensure compliance with FAA regulations and policies
  • Collaborate with other FAA facilities and stakeholders to optimize air traffic management
  • Develop and implement operational strategies and workforce planning
  • Address and manage crisis situations effectively
