Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Six months related experience or training
  • Valid state-issued driver’s license with current address and acceptable driving record
  • Ability to drive a vehicle with manual transmission if required
  • Clear oral communication skills
  • Clear written communication skills
  • Customer service orientation
  • Adaptability to work environment changes
  • Sound judgment
  • Physical ability to lift or move up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to walk and run for extended periods
  • Ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch occasionally
  • Specific vision abilities including close vision and peripheral vision

Job Qualifications

  • Minimal high school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimal 6 months related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to speak clearly and respond well to questions
  • Ability to write clearly and interpret written information
  • Maintain a positive attitude and respond professionally and courteously to requests for service and assistance
  • Ability to adapt to changes in the work environment and deal with unexpected events
  • Demonstrate sound and accurate judgment

Job Duties

  • Greet guests courteously
  • Ensure customers are receiving timely service
  • Assist customers in and out of their vehicle
  • Drive, park, and retrieve customer vehicles in a safe and professional manner
  • Assist with hiring, training, and coaching an excellent valet team
  • Create a staffing schedule according to the anticipated daily vehicle volume
  • Maintain full compliance to the standard operating procedures while ensuring the safety and security of vehicles and keys
  • Prepare and process daily paperwork according to audit compliance standards
  • Ensure that drive lanes and crosswalks are clean of debris, water, oil spills
  • Create and implement a successful staging plan utilizing all aspects of the location's layout to ensure maximum parking capacity
  • Quickly distinguish vehicle makes and models and have a general knowledge of vehicle operations
  • Substitute for any position if necessary
  • Complete other duties as needed
