Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of science degree in nursing preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years clinical patient care experience in a relevant setting
  • Previous lead or supervisor experience overseeing work of assigned units preferred
  • Previous healthcare management experience preferred
  • BLS certification required
  • Valid RN license in state of employment or compact

Job Duties

  • Meet expectations of the applicable OneCHRISTUS competencies: leader of self, leader of others, or leader of leaders
  • Implement and monitor programs and practices for the delivery of safe and efficient quality nursing care for patients and their families
  • Ensure consistent application of nursing services policies and standards throughout the organization
  • Monitor patient outcomes and quality and effectiveness of nursing care
  • Oversee the performance of teams
  • identify and address staff training and development needs
