Job Requirements

  • Be a resident of the State of Oklahoma
  • Have no recent interview disqualifications for the position within 12 months
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Able to obtain SIDA badge and meet airport requirements
  • Possess or obtain GSC qualification and comply with DOT drug and alcohol testing
  • Ability to lift 70 pounds regularly and perform physical tasks such as climbing and kneeling
  • Maintain a well-groomed appearance per company standards
  • Comply with company attendance standards

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in airline operations
  • Knowledge of business and management principles including strategic planning, resource allocation, and leadership
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to understand and apply collective bargaining agreements
  • Skilled in safety compliance and performance monitoring
  • Ability to use office software and systems efficiently
  • Valid driver’s license in the United States

Job Duties

  • Model the Southwest way by guiding and leading team members using talent management practices to coach and engage employees
  • Adhere to company values and foster a culture of inclusion, recognition, and safety
  • Coordinate with all departments to maintain station on-time performance, employee morale, and customer satisfaction
  • Monitor and guide ground support performance to meet operational requirements
  • Ensure maintenance and availability of ground support equipment and station resources
  • Oversee day-to-day airport operations to create a safe, secure, and compliant environment
  • Perform administrative duties including shift bid building, payroll, attendance reporting, and staffing management
