Job Requirements

  • Resident of the state of Texas
  • Must be able to obtain a SIDA badge and meet local airport requirements
  • Must possess a valid US driver’s license
  • Must comply with the Department of Transportation drug and alcohol testing program
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting weights of 70 pounds regularly
  • Ability to work assigned shifts including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must comply with company attendance standards
  • Must maintain a well-groomed appearance
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States with no current or future sponsorship available

Job Qualifications

  • Broad knowledge of airline operations
  • Knowledge of business and management principles including strategic planning and leadership
  • Understanding of applicable collective bargaining agreements
  • Skilled in customer service and satisfaction evaluation
  • Knowledge of security operations and relevant equipment
  • Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally
  • Skilled in problem solving and decision making
  • Experience in managing teams and operational resources

Job Duties

  • Actively coordinate with all departments to maintain the station's on-time performance, employee morale, and customer satisfaction
  • Monitor and guide ground support performance to ensure requirements are met
  • Ensure all equipment including ground support equipment (GSE) is maintained and available for the operation
  • Oversee day-to-day airport operations to create a safe, secure, and legally compliant service-conscious environment
  • Assign and track agents for training compliance
  • Maintain a safe working environment and institute programs to reduce accidents and injuries
  • Drive performance processes by forecasting operational situations and monitoring key metrics
  • Perform administrative duties such as building shift bids, daily work assignments, payroll, and attendance reports
  • Assure proper administration of labor contracts to minimize disputes
  • Report status updates to leaders and employees consistently
