The role of Supervisor Outpatient Diagnostic Imaging is a leadership position centered within the Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging service line. The person in this role plays a crucial part in shaping and managing the ecosystem of high-acuity ambulatory imaging services. This role involves leading daily operations including staffing, workflow management, and scheduling across multiple imaging modalities. The supervisor partners closely with radiologists, technologists, and nurses to foster a patient-first culture emphasizing safety, efficiency, and compassion. Important responsibilities include advancing accreditation readiness, radiation safety compliance, protocol standardization, vendor partnerships, and equipment maintenance to ensure high patient throughput and quality outcomes. The supervisor also leads service recovery efforts, monitors key performance indicators through dashboards, and drives continuous quality improvement initiatives.

Job Requirements
- associate or bachelor’s degree in radiologic technology or related field
- certified radiologic technologist
- prior supervisory experience in outpatient diagnostic imaging
- knowledge of radiation safety and ALARA principles
- excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- proficiency in electronic health record and PACS systems
- strong interpersonal and team collaboration abilities
Job Qualifications
- associate or bachelor’s degree in radiologic technology or related field
- certification as a radiologic technologist
- experience in outpatient diagnostic imaging supervision
- knowledge of advanced imaging modalities and technologies
