Job Requirements
- College degree or equivalent relevant experience
- Must be able to qualify as a Flight Attendant and maintain currency of qualifications
- Current Inflight or airline experience preferred
- Previous management or leadership experience desired
- Knowledge of human resource management, Crew Scheduling and working with collective bargaining agreements desired
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and handle large and complex operations
- Strong planning and time management skills
- Ability to serve as model Flight Attendant when providing customer service to passengers
- Ability to interface effectively with other departments and vendors
- Ability to communicate and work effectively with all levels of management and subordinates
- Ability to work independently
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Must have strong planning and organizational skills
- Ability to analyze and react positively

Job Duties
- Supervise all phases of Flight Attendant operations at the base
- Analyze and evaluate Flight Attendant base operating performance and implement or recommend corrective actions
- Be available for 24/7 on-call duty phone
- Manage Crew Scheduling and resolve Flight Attendant scheduling conflicts
- Coordinate DOT drug and alcohol testing with Anti-drug and Alcohol Program Administrator
- Distribute revisions and bid packets and ensure correct entry or upload for Flight Attendants assigned to the base
- Administer performance and attendance reporting and corrective action
- Follow up on all base Inflight delays and call Flight Attendants for emergencies after hours
- Serve as point of contact for base catering and POS issues
- Provide technical guidance with POS and FAM systems
- Participate and coordinate charter calls, prepare information sheets, and assist with catering coordination
- Interpret company and local policies and procedures
- Administer collective bargaining agreements for Flight Attendants assigned to the base
- Organize crew appreciation events
- Prepare and submit budgets and justifications
- Complete HR and Safety paperwork and direct Flight Attendants to appropriate resources
- Maintain Flight Attendant qualifications and perform check Flight Attendant duties
- Fly monthly trips from various bases
- Act as onsite Inflight emergency response representative
- Determine and justify personnel, facilities, and equipment needs
- Enhance local community relationships
- Travel as required
- Assist with Flight Attendant recruiting
- Conduct uniform guideline training for new hires
- Participate as an ASAP ERC member when assigned
