Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
  • associate degree in Food Service Management, Dietetics, Culinary Arts, or similar field preferred
  • three to five years' experience in food service required
  • ability to demonstrate continuous personal development and improvement
  • knowledge of food service operations, sanitation, safety, and HACCP
  • skills in education and training for special populations
  • proficiency with computer applications including C-BORD system

Job Duties

  • Direct employees in the preparation and service of daily meals
  • maintain quality, sanitation, and safety standards including HACCP compliance
  • operate and clean food service equipment
  • manage procurement and inventory of food supplies
  • develop and manage work schedules and timecards
  • conduct hiring and provide employee education and training
  • analyze data and develop reports using relevant computer applications
