IronOaks at Sun Lakes is a distinguished retirement community located in the towns of Chandler and Sun Lakes, Arizona. Comprised of two interconnected neighborhoods, Ironwood and Oakwood, this community offers a premier living experience favored by retirees in the Valley. The appeal of IronOaks lies in its mature landscaping, variety of amenities, and convenient in-town location. Residents enjoy extensive facilities including two clubhouses, 45 holes of golf, fitness centers, tennis and pickleball courts, softball fields, swimming pools, and scenic trails, making it a vibrant and active living environment.
The community's commitment to quality and service extends to its employment opportunities, with a clear focus on fostering a supportive and well-equipped workplace. The position open at IronOaks is the Supervisor of Food and Beverage (F&B), a full-time role offering $19.00 per hour. Full-time team members working 30 hours or more per week receive comprehensive benefits, including eligibility for company medical, dental, and life insurance plans after 60 days of employment, Paid Time Off (PTO) accumulation, paid holidays, and access to a 401(k) plan after 30 days of service. Part-time employees also benefit through paid sick leave in line with state guidelines, enhancing the supportive nature of the team environment.
The Supervisor of Food & Beverage plays a critical role in creating an exceptional dining experience for both residents and guests by overseeing and motivating the F&B team. Reporting to the Assistant Food & Beverage Manager or Restaurant Manager, the supervisor is responsible for coordinating daily operations, maintaining high standards of food quality and service, and ensuring the team delivers consistent excellence. This leadership role demands a strong focus on staff development, operational communication, and guest satisfaction.
Key responsibilities include supervising banquet staff, supporting staff recruitment and training, managing budgets and inventory, overseeing bar management during special events, and ensuring compliance with safety and health regulations. This role requires a hands-on leader who can inspire and motivate the team, maintain effective communication across departments, and model the community’s core values of honesty, respect, teamwork, and competitive spirit.
Candidates will find this position dynamic and rewarding, working in a professionally managed environment that offers varied experiences from day-to-day operations to special events such as weddings and corporate functions. The role demands flexibility, as schedules may include evenings, weekends, and occasional travel. A valid driver’s license is necessary for this position, reflecting the operational needs of the community.
This position offers a unique opportunity to be part of a vibrant, well-established community known for its high-quality amenities and excellent resident satisfaction. IronOaks at Sun Lakes is committed to equal employment opportunities, welcoming a diverse range of candidates to apply for this vital role in maintaining and enhancing their distinguished service reputation.
