Job Requirements

  • Minimum age 18
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Possess a valid, unexpired and unsuspended state driver's license
  • Must be able to carry, bend, lift and turn with bags weighing up to 75 lbs
  • Ability to work rotating shifts including nights, holidays, weekends, days off, with reliable attendance
  • Flexibility to work additional hours on short notice due to operational needs
  • Able to perform duties in various weather conditions and time constraints
  • Ability to read, write, fluently speak and understand English
  • Legal right to work in the United States
  • Pass fingerprint based criminal background check for airport security access
  • Obtain necessary airport security badges and clear airport requirements
  • Pass US Postal Service background check if handling US mail
  • Comply with Department of Transportation regulations regarding drug and alcohol tests

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Minimum of one year of customer service experience preferred
  • Previous airline experience including knowledge of ticketing systems or ramp operations preferred
  • Ability to demonstrate leadership, initiative, and judgment
  • Comfortable organizing work groups and handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to read, write, fluently speak and understand English
  • Legal right to work in the United States

Job Duties

  • Coordinate the day-to-day station operations by leading and organizing the activities of agents and clerks to ensure a safe working environment and on-time dependability
  • Ensure adequate operational coverage
  • responsible for scheduling and manpower utilization
  • Maintain a safe, dependable and consistent operation
  • Conduct agent observations
  • Schedule and administer local training including new hire training
  • Investigate and resolve operational issues as well as customer service issues
  • Adhere to uniform policy and wear company uniforms as provided
  • Participate on operational conference calls, station audits and prepare various reports
  • Maintain records such as time and attendance, personnel files and performance
  • Perform Station Agent duties as required including greeting passengers, ticketing, rebooking itineraries, baggage handling, and guiding aircraft
  • Operate ground equipment like tugs, belt loaders, and bag carts
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a safe and on-time departure
  • May clean aircraft interiors and service lavatories
  • Work in the Baggage Service Office tracking baggage location
