Job Requirements

  • Minimum age 18
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Valid, unexpired and unsuspended state driver's license
  • Ability to carry, bend, lift and turn with bags weighing up to 75 lbs
  • Ability to work rotating shifts including nights, holidays, weekends and days off
  • Ability to report to work regularly and timely
  • Flexibility to work additional hours on short notice
  • Ability to perform all duties in various weather conditions and time constraints
  • Ability to read, write, fluently speak and understand English
  • Possess legal right to work in the United States
  • Successful completion of fingerprint based background check and airport security clearance
  • Must adhere to uniform policy and appearance standards
  • Ability to comply with Department of Transportation drug and alcohol testing regulations

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Ability to perform duties in various weather conditions and time constraints
  • Comfortable organizing work groups and handling multiple priorities
  • Strong leadership, initiative, and judgement
  • Customer service experience preferred
  • Some airline experience, including knowledge of ticketing and ramp operations, preferred
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English fluently
  • Possess legal right to work in the United States

Job Duties

  • Coordinate the day-to-day station operations by leading and organizing the activities of agents and clerks to ensure a safe working environment and on-time dependability
  • Ensure adequate operational coverage and be responsible for scheduling and manpower utilization
  • Maintain a safe, dependable and consistent operation
  • Conduct agent observations
  • Schedule and administer local training including new hire training
  • Investigate and resolve operational issues as well as customer service issues
  • Adhere to uniform policy with company provided uniforms
  • Participate on operational conference calls, station audits and prepare various reports
  • Maintain records such as time and attendance, personnel files and performance
  • Perform Station Agent duties as required including greeting passengers, checking in and ticketing, rebooking itineraries, boarding pass issuance, informing passengers, guiding aircraft on taxiways, loading and unloading baggage, operating ground equipment, cleaning aircraft interiors, and baggage service tracking
