Job Requirements

  • Minimum age 18
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Possess a valid, unexpired and unsuspended state driver’s license
  • Must be able to carry, bend, lift and turn with bags weighing up to 75 lbs
  • Ability to work rotating shifts including nights, holidays, weekends, days off, and be able to report to work on a regular and timely basis
  • Requires flexibility to work additional hours beyond the regular shift, on short notice, and as needed due to operational necessity
  • Must be able to perform all duties in various weather conditions and time constraints
  • Ability to read, write, fluently speak and understand the English language
  • Possess the legal right to work in the United States
  • Must fulfill fingerprint based criminal background check for airport security access
  • Must secure airport authority or US Customs security badges if applicable
  • Must pass US Postal Service background check if handling US mail
  • Subject to Department of Transportation drug and alcohol testing as required

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Minimum of one year of customer service experience preferred
  • Knowledge of airline ticketing systems and ramp operations preferred
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills
  • Ability to handle stressful situations with good judgment
  • Excellent communication skills in English
  • Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Valid, unexpired and unsuspended state driver’s license
  • Physical ability to carry, bend, lift and turn with bags weighing up to 75 lbs
  • Legal right to work in the United States

Job Duties

  • Coordinate the day-to-day station operations by leading and organizing the activities of agents and clerks to ensure a safe working environment and on-time dependability
  • Ensure adequate operational coverage and be responsible for scheduling and manpower utilization
  • Maintain a safe, dependable and consistent operation
  • Conduct agent observations
  • Schedule and administer local training including new hire training
  • Investigate and resolve operational issues as well as customer service issues
  • Adhere to company uniform policy and participate in operational conference calls, station audits and prepare various reports
  • Maintain records such as time and attendance, personnel files and performance
  • Perform station agent work as required, including assisting with ramp service and customer service operations such as greeting passengers, using reservation/ticketing software, providing trip information, guiding aircraft on taxiways, loading and unloading baggage, and operating ground equipment
  • Collaborate with internal team to ensure safe and on-time departures
  • May clean aircraft interiors and service lavatories, work in baggage service office to track baggage location
