Job Requirements

minimum five years of relevant experience
ability to direct food production and service operations
food safety manager certification within 90 days
supervisory experience of a sizable team
working knowledge of dietetics
commitment to quality and compliance
effective communication skills

Job Qualifications

associate degree minimum
bachelor degree in culinary arts preferred
food safety manager certification required within 90 days
basic knowledge of dietetics
previous supervision of 12 or more staff
three to five years of progressive culinary and kitchen management experience
experience in hospital, healthcare, or catering food services

Job Duties

direct daily food production and service operations in the hospital
ensure compliance with The Joint Commission, HACCP, AHCA, and regulatory standards
motivate and lead a team of food service staff
establish and maintain operational standards with management
implement quality improvement initiatives
communicate effectively with the food services team
uphold the mission and values of Baptist Health
