Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
- Experience supervising teams or resources or timelines
- Barista certification within six weeks of employment
- ServSafe Food Handler Training Certificate within 30 days of hire
- Complete Coffee Academy training within six months
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Good physical fitness
- Ability to work rotating weekends and holidays
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to stay calm under pressure
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
- Experience implementing and monitoring food services policies procedures and programs
- Experience supervising teams resources timelines within the area
- Strong understanding of food services regulations laws and standards
- Proven performance in earlier role
- Must have Barista Certification after completing Initial Store Training within six weeks of employment
- ServSafe Food Handler Training Certificate or equivalent required within 30 days of hire
- Employee must maintain current certification during employment
- Complete the Coffee Academy training program within six months
- Ability to plan workload for team and give clear instructions and expectations
- Experience giving positive and constructive feedback and completing evaluations
- Skills in coaching and supporting team member development
- Knowledge of foodservice operations processes tools and methodologies
- Good understanding of institutional and departmental administrative and safety policies
- Ability to independently handle and escalate technical issues
- Physically fit and able to work in stressful environments
- Ability to lead team meetings and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Proficiency in digital communication tools
- Strong problem-solving skills using data analysis and insights

Job Duties
- Supervise staff in assigned area in accordance with all departmental and hospital policies and procedures
- Ensure high quality of food efficient production and service including excellent sanitation in compliance with departmental sanitation standards
- Interact closely with key stakeholders such as Retail Manager Executive Chef to assist in production planning and waste reduction
- Manage daily weekly and or monthly reports and may assist with cost reduction programs
- Research new techniques to be used in one9s own area and stay updated with the latest trends in the food services industry
- Lead and supervise teams train mentor and guide team members ensuring they have all the resources required to complete their assigned tasks
- Perform other duties as assigned to meet the goals and objectives of the department and institution
- Maintain regular and predictable attendance
