Job Description

McDonald's is a globally recognized fast-food restaurant chain known for its iconic menu items and commitment to quality, service, and cleanliness. With thousands of locations worldwide, McDonald's provides a dynamic work environment that encourages career growth, development, and educational opportunities to its employees. The company values its team members and offers a variety of benefits designed to support both personal and professional advancement. Working at McDonald's is about more than just serving food; it is about creating enjoyable experiences for customers and fostering a positive workplace culture where employees can thrive. This specific job opportunity is at a franchised McDonald’s restaurant, independently owned and operated outside of McDonald's USA corporate structure, meaning the franchisee is responsible for all employment-related decisions.

The role of Supervisor at McDonald’s is a critical management position focused on running profitable restaurants while ensuring that McDonald’s high standards for quality, service, and cleanliness are consistently met. The Supervisor collaborates closely with restaurant leaders and General Managers to set restaurant goals and develop actionable plans to achieve these objectives. Unlike other managerial roles that may focus on a single location, this position involves overseeing a team of General Managers across multiple restaurant sites, monitoring progress, and providing coaching and support to help each restaurant improve operationally and financially. This leadership role requires strong expertise in restaurant operations and profit and loss (P&L) management to secure business success.

In addition to managing restaurant operations, the Supervisor plays a key role in staffing by assisting in the recruitment, hiring, and development of Department and Shift Managers, ensuring that the team is well-prepared to lead and excel into the future. Supervising and developing salaried managers is also part of the responsibilities. Ideal candidates for this role have previous supervisory experience in high-volume, fast-paced environments, preferably in quick service restaurants, hospitality, or retail sectors. By joining McDonald's as a Supervisor, you will have a fulfilling career with the possibility to grow your leadership skills, earn competitive pay, and enjoy extensive employee benefits including tuition assistance, paid time off, and healthcare options. This position offers a unique chance to be part of a respected brand that values employee advancement and community impact. If you are motivated by leadership, enjoy working with diverse teams, and are driven to achieve business excellence, McDonald’s offers a supportive environment to help you reach your career goals.
