Currently, Vitality Bowls is hiring for full-time and part-time Cashier and Food Prep positions. This role plays a key part in maintaining the smooth day-to-day operations of the store while ensuring a positive customer experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for memorizing training material related to the health benefits of ingredients, demonstrating excellent customer service skills, and maintaining cleanliness both in the kitchen and the front lobby areas. They will be involved in food preparation following strict sanitary procedures, handling point-of-sale transactions with accuracy, and coordinating with team members to ensure timely order delivery. Job Requirements

  • Become food certified
  • Must be able to handle a basic computer and POS system
  • Follow health, sanitary, and safety requirements
  • Ability to stand for long periods, occasionally lift heavy boxes, and move quickly
  • Maintain a clean and work-appropriate personal appearance
  • Positive attitude and willingness to work well with others

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in food service or retail cashier preferred
  • Ability to operate POS system and handle cash and credit card transactions
  • Understanding of health and safety regulations
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to follow instructions and recipes accurately
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge or interest in fitness and nutrition is a plus

Job Duties

  • Memorize training material and explain health benefits of ingredients to customers
  • Keep front lobby and outside area clean
  • Provide excellent customer service including politeness and accurate wait times
  • Assist and ring up guests, answer phone calls, and take orders over the phone
  • Follow recipes and make food in a timely and sanitary manner
  • Prep food according to proper procedures
  • Clean kitchen and lobby continuously and thoroughly
  • Put away deliveries and keep organized
  • Wash dishes and put away properly
  • Communicate with staff to ensure orders are correct and timely
  • Carry out food to customers
  • Communicate with managers about schedule and days off

  • Complete opening and closing duties
