Job Requirements
- Have a car, valid driver’s license, and motor vehicle insurance
- pass a motor vehicle record check with safe driving record
- pass a background check
- reliable phone access
- ability to lift up to 50 pounds and walk up to half a mile
- complete virtual Mandated Reporter and Sexual Harassment trainings within first week
- available to work some weekends and flexible hours
- able to travel to outreach events throughout the Bay Area 80% of the time
- adhere to Rising Sun policies and public safety regulations
- work in-person at temporary site offices in specified locations
Job Qualifications
- Experience in community engagement, outreach, customer service, or sales preferred
- bilingual abilities in Spanish, Mandarin, Cantonese, Tagalog, Vietnamese, or other languages a plus
- proficient in using technology including laptops, tablets, Google Suite, and Salesforce
- organized with strong verbal and written communication skills
- ability to adapt messaging for diverse audiences
Job Duties
- Schedule, coordinate, and represent Rising Sun at outreach events
- engage clients and sign them up for the Green House Call service
- execute Climate Career’s phone banking campaign to book appointments
- support a full schedule of Green House Call appointments and customer service tasks
- enter data and maintain customer waitlists and outreach logs
- present to community organizations
- perform additional responsibilities as assigned
