The role of Event Services Intern at Ingram Micro is an exciting opportunity designed specifically for college and university students who are eager to develop practical skills in corporate event planning within a dynamic, global organization. This 10-week paid summer internship program provides participation in meaningful work while gaining exposure to event services in a supportive environment. The internship is based in Buffalo, New York, with a hybrid schedule combining remote work and required in-office days, enabling interns to experience a balance of flexibility and hands-on engagement. Interns will play an active role in supporting onsite events such as local happy hours and campus events, as well as assisting with larger corporate events from planning through execution. Job Requirements
- Actively enrolled in an accredited college or university program or recently graduated within the last semester or quarter
- Pursuing a degree in Marketing, Events, or Hospitality preferred
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Adaptability and willingness to assist with onsite events
- Experience with MS Office Suite, Office 365, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
- Must be able to pass a drug test and pre-employment background check

Job Duties
- Help with onsite events in Buffalo, NY including local happy hours, on and off campus events
- Assist teammates with planning of larger events

- Manage reporting and ordering food, beverage, décor for onsite events
- Support execution of event logistics and coordination
- Participate in cohort learning and development activities
