Job Requirements
- Valid driver’s license is mandatory
- CDL preferred
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds repeatedly and use 2-wheel dollies
- Must have reliable transportation
- Ability to navigate local routes and manage frequent stops
- Must be able to work in fast-paced, outdoor, and adverse weather conditions
- Must be able to pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check
Job Qualifications
- Must have a valid driver’s license, CDL preferred
- Minimum of 6 months commercial driving experience or 3 months food service delivery experience
- Must be able to perform repeated manual lifting of heavy items over 50 pounds
- Proficient in the usage of smartphones and navigation apps
- Ability to drive safely and work efficiently during inclement weather
- Previous customer service experience preferred
- Able to pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check
Job Duties
- Comply with local traffic regulations
- Report delays, accidents, injuries or truck damages to supervisor or manager
- Assist in maintaining the company fleet by keeping trucks clean and orderly
- Perform periodic maintenance on trucks such as fueling diesel, DEF, and cleaning
- Assist in receiving, transporting, sorting, and unloading food boxes
- Set up tents, sandwich boards, flags, and yard signs at various sites
- Distribute food boxes on service days as designated by Summer Food Operations
- Perform non-driving tasks within the warehouse and production facility
- Conduct basic vehicle checks and report maintenance issues
- Drive assigned routes safely and efficiently
